Huge Turnout for Thornley XC boosts Grand Prix points!

A massive turnout for the first XC meeting of the season meant that 25 senior members gained 5 points each towards their Grand Prix totals!  The junior section was also well represented with runners across lots of the age groups proudly wearing the white & blue.

With 3 more XC meetings in 2025 and 6 more GP races then there is still plenty to play for!  Turn up, win the lot and that’s 75 points!  If only it was that simple.

Grand Prix 2025 Update

Grand Prix 2025 AFTER LOCOMOTION 200

With the organisers of the Locomotion 200 races not publishing results until Saturday I have gone ahead with what I saw on the day in terms of Harriers running in club tops.  Any errors and omissions please let me know.

Updated Grand Prix Standings

Grand Prix 2025 AFTER BRANCHES & BAYS

Updated Grand Prix 2025 standings following the Branches & Bays 10k trail race yesterday.
Well done to the 8 Harriers who proudly represented the club in their vests and there were some excellent times over a tricky and demanding course!
Next up is the Cronkley Fell Race on Saturday 13th September at 2pm (so you could double up with a parkrun too!).
A 17km race with over 560m ascent. It is an out-and-back route across the scenic fells of Upper Teesdale, running parallel to the River Tees itself, beginning and finishing in the quiet hamlet of Holwick.
Quite the bargain too at £9 for entry 😀
Find the link to the entry page on the Grand Prix page on this website
